A video workshop to guide you step-by-step though how to set up and use an organic indigo fructose vat, using 3 simple natural ingredients and a very easy to follow recipe.

You will also learn how to use the vat to create beautiful blue dyes on natural fibres, with good results, all over een saturated colours, deep blues and long lasting results.

This simple recipe uses only three natural ingrediants: organic indigo extract powder, fructose and lime and was originally formulated by french scientist Michel Garcia.

Indigo kits are available for an additional cost with all the materials required for the class included, with enough dye to shibori dye teh silk scarf included and one or two other small items of your own. The kit includes a 1/2 metre length of organic UK-grown peace silk, organic indigo extract powder, fructose, lime + twine for resist print making.
