F.A.Q’s:

  • Do you have sample colours and prices available?

We do not provide ready made colour samples or have set prices.

We offer a sampling service for a minimum of £350, to match your colours and then create a quote from this based on quantity of material and time required. This service should be booked several weeks in advance and has a lead time of about 2 weeks minimum.

  • What kind of fabrics do you dye?

We choose to only work with unbleached, organically grown and processed, 100% natural fibre fabrics. This means we do not work with stretch fabrics which contain elastane, or any other synthetic or manmade fibres such as viscose, tencel or bamboo.

We prefer to work with locally sourced fibres as much as possible.

  • Are you available for private workshops and talks?

Yes, we love to provide workshops, talks and other kinds of events for clients. We do charge a set fee for all these services. Please email for further info.

  • Do you offer internships and work placements?

We do not provide internships, however work experience opportunities do come up occasionally, which are 4-6 weeks, one Wednesday afternoon a week. Unpaid. This is not a structured course and does not include training. It is an opportunity to contribute to the business and help out with everyday errands. For more info, please email c.v and cover letter to our email.

  • Do you sell dyes and inks?

We do sell dyes in powder and dried plant dye form. Powders are easily mixted with water to create inks. We do offer recipes for making dyes and inks in our book, Botanical Inks: Plant-To-Print Dyes, Techniques and Projects.
