Hand dyed by Babs Behan, using local seasonal dye flowers
Along with our in-house organic natural dyes, including:
Cosmos, chamomile, hollyhock, rose, onion skin, marigold, sandalwood, brazilwood, lac and cochineal
to create mesmerising patterns across the cloth.
The softest organic UK-grown peace silk (kind to moths!), in its natural, unbleached, boiled-off state.
Adorn and wrap your body in a protective sheath of nature’s fibres and pigments,
to wear close to the skin where their herbal properties may be felt.
Hand sewn in Devon using a natural cotton thread,
to complete the soil-to-soil material sourcing and composition of this robe.
So that once it’s useful life cycle is complete, it can be returned to the soil as biological nutrients, rather than pollutants.
