Learn to create striking table centres with India Hurst of Vervain then 'Bundle Dye' your very own table runner with Babs Behan, founder of Botanical Inks. 

We will then use your bundle dyed table runner and floral table centre to style and dress a table, mixing in a selection of fruits and props to create a beautiful striking table-scape for you to photograph.

“Bundle-dyeing”, is a contemporary natural dye experience using flower petals and plant materials to extract and to transfer colour directly into cloth, without the need for the dye pot.

Learn to use a simple bind + steam dyeing technique and set colours using only natural materials, as part of a non-toxic creative practice. And discover an ancient herbalist practice of imbuing textiles with medicinal botanicals, gaining a further understanding of the origins of ceremonial natural dyeing and herbalism.

This is not a particularly messy class, however, if you feel to wear something comfortable which you don't mind getting messy, or bring an apron, you are very welcome to.
